The brief

What we set out to solve.

01

Outdated legacy software

The LeaseBother application had poor UI/UX, expensive licensing, rigid and non-scalable architecture, and no workflow customisation options.

02

Manual, error-prone operations

Manual paperwork and duplicate entries across the legacy system meant most day-to-day tasks were handled by hand, with re-keying between steps and no validation to catch mistakes.

03

Poor reporting and visibility

Limited reporting and weak analytics left the team waiting up to 48 hours for reports, with no live view of operations.

04

No customer self-service

There was no customer portal, causing communication delays and complaints across the operation.

Our approach

How it came together.

A calm, four-step rhythm — we listen first, sketch in the open, build in tight loops, then tend the result long after launch.

Discovery

Business analysis and stakeholder interviews, a full audit of the LeaseBother system, workflow mapping and requirements gathering with gap analysis.

Design & plan

UI/UX design and interactive prototyping, information architecture and user flows, technology stack selection and sprint planning.

Build & test

Agile development in two-week sprints, with comprehensive QA and UAT plus performance and security testing.

Launch & grow

Phased deployment and data migration, staff training and change management, then ongoing maintenance, support and continuous improvement.

The story

Background

DeliPack Express is a logistics and courier company providing end-to-end supply chain solutions across courier services, warehousing, distribution, fleet management and supply chain operations. Techno Serve delivered a complete digital transformation — a new website, a custom logistics platform to replace the legacy LeaseBother application, and ongoing digital marketing.

Challenge

The legacy LeaseBother application was slow, manual and hard to scale. Most day-to-day tasks were handled by hand with re-keying between steps, and reports were delayed by up to 48 hours. Poor UI/UX, expensive licensing, rigid architecture, no customisation and no customer portal drove communication delays and complaints.

Approach

We ran a structured, phased programme — discovery and system audit, UI/UX design and prototyping, agile build in two-week sprints with full QA and UAT, then phased deployment with data migration, staff training and ongoing support. The new custom platform spans 16+ core modules and 50+ features, built on Laravel, PHP and REST APIs with a React front end, MySQL and encrypted cloud backups, and hardened with role-based access, encryption and 2FA.

Outcome

DeliPack Express replaced LeaseBother with a modular, cloud-native platform of 16+ core modules and 50+ features, built and live in 14 weeks and running on a 99.9% uptime SLA. Dynamic dashboards and BI replaced 48-hour manual report cycles; automated workflows with validation at the point of entry replaced manual re-keying; a full customer self-service portal replaced a system that offered none; and a dedicated 24/7 support line replaced slow vendor response. DeliPack Express’s internal throughput, error and cost figures are commercially confidential and are not published here.
